IntelSync backup services offer an alternative to in-house backups. In general, all services install a client application on the machine to be backed up in order to periodically send a copy of the local data to a remote server. Most all of the services use some type of encryption between the local machine and server to protect the contents.
Others also offer storage encryption where the data is encrypted before it is saved to the remote server. The most common type of backup service offering is strictly file-based, meaning you choose what types of files or directories to protect.
